In the over all I am impressed with quality and functionality. Just as I expected.
I've had a FocusONE for some time, and found it to be the right follow-focus for tucking in right under my wood cage grip, for being able to adjust focus even while handholding. I was using another follow-focus on the other side, under the other wood grip, to make it easier to find the aperture ring on my Rokinon Digital Cine lenses, but I finally had to admit that the fit was awkward. The price for the FocusONE is so good for how well-made it is that I got a second one, installed it on the aperture side in three or four seconds, and my only question now is WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?
Excellent fine focus!

luv it .,,,
This has good build quality and function, but the fact that you have to measure, cut and attach a plastic strip with teeth to each of your lenses to match the teeth of the FocusONE is sort of a pain. I had to order a separate pack of 3 plastic strips ($45!, which is ridiculous--it's just a cheap little strip of plastic) because they recommend making a custom strip for each lens (which you do have to do to make each one fit). There should be a number of these strips included with the price, because it doesn't work without them.
This is a great little follow focus. Bought this for my black magic come 4k rig and I love it so far. Definitely going to buy another one to use as an iris focus. Great build quality, nice and compact. Easy to see marking wheel. This is a great product would highly recommend.
Build quality is top notched, the feel of the focus knob is precise. Highly recommend it.

My two majors problems with this product are: 1. The teeth do not always "lock" correctly on Cine Lenses or specifically designed adaptors for Photo lenses. 2. There is some play in the wheel that make it often impossible to repeat focus or pull focus with precision. Really disappointed with this product.
Greetings to the entire edelkrone team, My name is Timothy Richardson and I'm a Director of Photography in training earning my MA in film at Georgia State. I recently used the edelkrone focus puller to shoot a dialogue scene. It's safe to say I was more than pleased. I combined this with a Rokinon 35mm cine lens and the images I was able to capture were truly amazing. I've included the link to this review. Love the feel and the simplicity. Why not make it 19mm with a sleeve to make it 15mm and expand your market.
Title says it all. This is perfect for a one man B-cam lightweight "run and gun" setup.
Ive not had a chance to use this on a job yet but it’s obvious this is the right size and the right design for just about any size rig. The perfect single / solo operator follow focus. Super fast to side on and lockdown.
Paired it with the mini shoulder rig and it is perfect for my 5D Mark IV. I have NEVER been disappointed with Edelkrone products
A great follow focus! Well built and easy to use.
Excellent piece of gear. Affordable, well-made, highly functional.
Works well if using with lenses that don't have much drag / tension.
